PATNA: Bhawna Nanda of Ranchi topped the list of successful candidates in the 31st Bihar Judicial Services Competitive Examination, the results of which were announced on Monday. A list of as many as 214 candidates selected against 231 vacancies has been published by the BPSC.
Other four toppers in the merit list are Divyanshu Gupta of Sagar (Madhya Pradesh ),
Raghav (Madhubani), Sneha Singh of Motihari and Payal Mishra of Madhepura.
Atogether 693 candidates were called for interview on the basis written (mains) examination. Of them, 688 appeared in the interview but 278 secured less than the cutoff qualifying marks of 35%. The merit list prepared on the basis of both written and interview included the names of 408 candidates. The cutoff in the final examination under different categories were 536 (unreserved), 499 (EWS), 403 (SC), 434 (ST), 447 (EBC), 495 (BC) and 480 (persons with disabalilities), said BPSC’s examination controller Amarendra Kumar.
